  • Some people worry that cleaning too frequently will cause carpet to age quickly, but the opposite is true. To maintain a carpet's new appearance, it needs to be cleaned regularly. Carpet manufacturers recommend a professional cleaning every 12 months. If you have children or pets, consider having your carpets cleaned every 6-10 months in order to meet the high traffic demands on your carpet.

  • Even in areas with minimal foot traffic, airborne dust and soil agents accumulate on carpet over time. When dirt is allowed to build up in a carpet's pile, it can scrape the fibers and give the carpet a "dirty" appearance that will remain even after professional cleaning.

  • We use hot water extraction (steam cleaning) due to its effectiveness in removing soils and leaving your carpet looking its best. Our truck-mounted equipment is new as of August 2019, with powerful suction to get your carpets clean and dry.

  • Not a bit. In fact, steam cleaning, or "hot water extraction" as it is called in the carpet industry, is the cleaning method recommended by most carpet manufacturers. It is the best and safest way to remove embedded dirt.

  • With our advanced equipment, many carpets are dry within just a couple of hours! Variables such as the thickness of your carpet, the weather, and the air circulation in your home will change dry time. You can walk on the carpet right after cleaning, provided you wear socks of some kind or foot covering to keep the natural oils on your feet from getting into the drying carpet.

  • Blot up as much of the foreign matter as you can

    Next, flush the spot. Use a professional spot neutralizer, or mix in a spray bottle: 2 Tbsp white vinegar, 2 Tbsp non-bleaching dish detergent, and water

    Take a clean towel and blot, do not scrub, the spot

  • Kool-Aid, wine, candle wax and most other stains should not be treated with consumer products; they are more likely to set the stain or cause further discoloration. A better solution would be to call us at your earliest convenience: we have the products and the knowledge to neutralize a wide variety of staining problems.
